Taurus is pleased to introduce the next iteration of its heralded GX4 micro-compact pistol, the Taurus GX4XL. Features include a longer 3.7″ barrel over the GX4, as well as an optics cut slide, drift adjustable sights, interchangeable backstraps, a flat-faced trigger, one 11-round magazine and one 13 round magazine.

The new GX4XL TORO provides a longer slide which adds 1 inch of length when compared to the GX4-increasing muzzle velocity and sight radius, making it easier to maintain accuracy. The Taurus GX4XL TORO series pistols lead the micro-pistol class with their 10-, 11-, or 13-round capacity, durable finish, ergonomics, and exceptional accuracy. The Taurus GX4XL offers minimal printing even when worn under light clothing yet delivers the firepower and performance serious personal defense practitioners demand in an EDC/CCW handgun.

The Taurus standard backstrap profile features a slight palm swell. Those who favor a higher wrist position for natural point-of-aim can install the included high-swell backstrap. Direct thread, no plate system accommodates todays most popular red dot optics including: Shield RMSc, Holosun HS507K X2, Sightmark Mini Shot A-Spec M3, Trijicon RMR cc Red Dot (with adapter plate P/N: 10028170 A blackout steel serrated drift adjustable rear sight and fixed (white dot) front sight promote fast target acquisition when not running a red dot. Delivers accuracy and predictability courtesy of its crisp, precise sear break and the pleasingly short and tactile reset that is fundamental to quick, on-target follow-up shots.
