The 590S retains the same tried and true features from the 590 series such as dual extractors, twin action bars, positive steel-to-steel lockup, and a top-mounted ambidextrous safety switch. A synthetic stock and forend make this a lightweight but rugged shotgun, and with its 18.5″ barrel it’s also highly maneuverable. Additionally, this model comes optics ready and accepts direct mounting of Shield RMSc pattern red dot sights.
