The CZ 600 American is a testament to CZ USA’s commitment to excellence and reflects a long, proud tradition of hunters and gun makers. It features a distinctly American-style stock made from high-grade Turkish walnut with an attractive laminated finish. Finely cut checkering on the grip and forend sections provide a decent hold on the rifle and are accented by fleur-de-lis motifs that give the rifle a timelessly classic appearance. The stock is perfectly complemented by a glossy black finish on all of the metal parts, which also protects the metal from the elements and corrosion. Like the other rifles in the CZ 600 family, the 600 American is outfitted with an innovative controlled feed system. This design utilizes a short extractor to ensure reliable feeding and extraction of brass and cartridges in any position and during rapid firing. The CZ 600 American’s bolt features a short 60° throw, allowing the bolt to clear the ocular bell of larger riflescopes and promote faster bolt manipulations.
