The Browning X-Bolt holds a fine reputation as an accurate, reliable rifle that hunters can depend on. Sitting at the summit of the X-Bolt 2 line is the new White Gold Medallion, a rifle built to carry on that legacy with style.

The X-Bolt 2 White Gold Medallion was developed for the hunter that prefers the tradition of a wood stock and appreciates the improvements that technology provides. The standout feature is the beautiful Grade V/VI walnut Monte Carlo-style stock with gloss finish and rosewood caps with white line spacer at the fore-end tip and grip cap. Touches like a rounded fore-end tip and point-style checkering retain the classic look, but like other X-Bolt models, this stock has a trim, nimble feel that is fast to the shoulder. A 1-1/4″ Inflex recoil pad reduces the impact of felt recoil.

The stainless steel action resists corrosion and looks sharp with the gray finish enhanced by engraving. The spiral fluted bolt assembly is polished to a sheen. Low profile bottom metal ensure the focus is on the stock and raises the bar of elegance.

Focusing on performance, X-Bolt 2 Hunter is an ideal blend of tradition and design that will satisfy the accuracy needs of shooters. A stainless steel sporter contour barrel keeps the rifle light, maneuverable, and easy to carry. The action is bedded, and the barrel is free floated for consistent accuracy. A removable, stainless steel radial style muzzle brake reduces felt recoil and retains the lines of the rifle. A thread protector is included.

Functionally, the action has been redesigned with additional bolt guidance surface for smoother cycling. The spiral fluted bolt has also been reworked and is fitted with an improved handle and bolt knob.

The DLX Trigger is a three-lever design that offers zero creep, zero take-up, and zero overtravel performance and comes preset from the factory at 3.5 pounds. (Adjustable down to 3.0 pounds.)
